Hello! We are ARK Furniture!

ARK Furniture Toronto was founded in 2020 when two of the founders - Alyssa & Kyle- had been laid off due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. With all this free time on our hands we had decided to refinish a bedroom set for our then 4-year-old daughter - the R in ARK. The bedroom set was finished in our dining room as we practiced our skills. With the support of family and friends we were urged to start this side project into a business.

It became clear to us that the world needs more sustainable furniture alternatives. When buying new there is no environmentally friendly option and we knew we had to do something about it. With our new passion for sustainable furniture, we learned of the vast amount of furniture that was already out there and thrown into landfills every year. People want to have stylish and modern furniture, but they also want to ensure that it is well-finished and will last for years. That’s when we figured out how to help solve the problem.

Today, we now have a professional shop in Toronto equipped with an industrial spray booth. We spray with a 3-coat top-of-the-line water-based sealer, primer, and paint produced by Renner Wood Coatings. We work with all Benjamin Moore colours providing you with a wide range of design options.

We specialize in residential & commercial furniture refinishing. We can provide restoration of an original piece or you can work with our in-house designer to create the perfect piece for your space.
